Core DR also uses techniques that can take you beyond the next incremental step to truly disruptive strategies.  Surveys and focus groups distort, with false assumptions embedded in the questions they ask subjects and a reduction to lowest common denominator thinking. This can result in small improvements, but will ultimately fail to inspire and drive transformational change. The expansive qualitative work we do at Core opens up new vistas that can truly grant a new perspective.

Why We're Different

We use rigorous techniques informed by such methodologies as Grounded Theory, Objective Hermeneutics and Cognitive & Behavioral Mapping that elicit tacit (not readily expressed verbally) and latent (not expressly aware of) knowledge that consumers struggle or are unable to articulate. We also use the latest technologies to document, substantiate and validate findings even in the most unusual settings. While listening to consumers reveals explicit knowledge, it is through the triangulation of what people say, think and actually do that we are able to access deeply embedded value systems and translate them into reliable and actionable insights.
